13 July 2019

For stellar experiences for all the family, touchdown at Rushmere Shopping Centre during Space Week, 13th to 20th July 2019, in association with Armagh Observatory & Planetarium!

You’ll witness life-size replica satellites, the construction of a huge Apollo 11 balloon sculpture, astronaut statues, a space suit from Armagh Observatory & Planetarium and an actual meteorite!

We’ll have a mind-blowing virtual reality space headset to try, plus kids can have their picture taken in outer space (okay, so it’s a green screen with space scenes added in later!).

On Saturday 20th July, from 12noon until 4pm, we’ll have Lego and clay space workshops (with Duplo for the wee ones), a cool, creative space balloon academy and a space painter, sorry, we mean FACE painter, too!

It’s going to be out of this world…
